We are located on State Route 2 just 3.5 miles east of Gorham, NH, about 15 minutes north of the Mount Washington Auto Road and Pinkham Notch Visitor Center.


We are literally right on the Appalachian Trail! Hiking north, the AT comes out on Route 2 about 200 feet east of the hostel. Hiking south, you see the hostel where North Road meets State Route 2.


The nearest airports are Boston Logan (3 hours south), Portland (2 hours east), and Manchester (2 hours south). Concord Coach Bus Lines provides daily buses from Logan and Manchester to Gorham. We are happy to pick up guests when they arrive in Gorham. Extra charges may apply for an after hours bus pickup. Please contact us for details. 


If you are attempting the Carter Moriah  or Presidental Traverse please contact us for details, and we can arrange for your trail head pick up. We are located 3 miles east on US 2 from the the Carter Moriah trail head, 15 minutes from Pinkam Notch Visitor Center. We also like feed back and love to assist you with your trail runs. We want to make your White Mountains experience more enjoyable and create the opportunity for you to enjoy more of our trails.  Please note the visitor center has a front desk that can call us if you don't have reception.
